Love Always Finds A Way

Amidst busy life

and lonely hearts, 

love finds a way 

A ray of hope 

and happiness 

it brings along 

Refreshingly soothing 

like the first rain 

after a long hot summer

Some rain fall harder

some sooner than later

but when it does - it always brings along a change

A change that can be permanent or not

but then what is life without love 

but a tree without a flower

It's Not My Fault!

I have been wrong about people before 

And I will be wrong again 

But why should I be sorry

It is not my fault 

That people pretend

And are not what they say who they are

I can only see what they make me see

I have been naive but not wrong in trusting 

Doubting has never done any good

And believing in good is what I have been taught

Yes, I have learnt my lessons

And may not be easily fooled 

But then again, neither it was easy before

People are just too good an actor

I know, not all were lies 

But neither everything was a truth 

And struggling to decide between the two 

Has now become a part of life...

Untold.....Only to be told later!

On an evening
they had planned for long

She sat across him
with a smile so pretty
that was hard to miss

While she talked
her heart out
He was happy
to just listen

Wishing he could
tell her how much
he loved her
How pretty she looked
this beautiful evening

Hours were slipping by
and so was their time together
As the evening came to an end
she looked into his eyes
and waited for him to say something
that would make her stay

But he could not say it yet
for so many reasons untold
So they parted ways
only to find one day
that there is no other place
they rather be but with each other
And that is how it all started.. :)

It's Not His Love!

It's not his love that makes her beautiful 

It's her innocent smile 

It's not his love that makes her strong 

It's her experience with life 

It's not his love that makes her successful 

It's her own hardwork 

It's not his love that makes her happy 

It's in her nature to spread the smile 

It's not his love that defines her 

It's her beautiful upbringing 

It was never his love and never shall be 

It is always HER with or without HIS love!

The thousand feelings that are inlay
Vows unwhispered here, yet heard above
In silence our love, my heart conveys

When with you, I move in a world far away
And each breath of mine speaks of our love

And together we celebrate this blessing from above

A Villanelle is a nineteen-line poem consisting of rhyming scheme: aba aba aba aba aba abaa. The first and the third lines in the first stanza are repeated in alternating order throughout the poem, and appear together in the last couplet.

Failure - A Bitter Truth!

When all you ever dreamed of disappears

And life comes to an unexpected halt 

And you question what went wrong

Remember some things are not just meant to be

Not all dreams are meant for reality

Not all love stories are written in heaven

Not all efforts result in something big

Not all failures are for lifetime

Years of memories can be erased in a day

From everything you have ever owned

But how can you erase memories from your head

That made you laugh till your stomach ache

Those beautiful dreams that kept you awake

Are the very reason you are afraid to close your eyes

Letting go my friend is the best you can do

In time, everything will heal

But will things be ever same again?

What you were yesterday is lost with time

But what will tomorrow bring is yet to reveal

Dream big, trust again, start afresh

It is when you are afraid to close your eyes

Work harder and make things happen

It is when all your efforts seem to be in vain

Is when you should appreciate the journey most ...

Life - A Train Journey Between Stations

I bought a ticket and left
For a destination I planned
But when I reached the station
Holding the ticket in my hand
With a hope to make new memories
I saw the train leaving without me
And the train "Change" was waiting
To take me to a new destination

I stood there with a heavy heart
And I wish I didn't have to board
A destination I once so cherished
Now I had to leave for something new
There was a faint whistle amidst that chaos
And I knew I had to board now
If not this train then next that comes
But the destination I planned was a old memory now

I could see new faces around me
But none were from the past
Such is life - a beautiful journey between stations
Some planned and some unplanned
But no matter how good or bad the station is
Train will be there in time
You will have no choice but to board
And make the journey that you were meant to take...

A Love Story or A Mind Game!

Its a love story about a guy who loved a girl 

The guy was perfect and so was the girl 

But in time it was revealed 

The love was more a logic 

Of what it should be 

A game well- played till the end 

With illusions and promises 

That were nothing but empty words 

But illusions don't last forever 

And one day her world was bound to crash

The girl realized in time 

It was a game and nothing more 

She was playing not to win 

But to lose one day for all 

Yet she played cause she loved him with all her heart 

But love is not what he needed 

He needed something what she never understood 

A scorecard was maintained in the game they were playing 

Which he needed to square 

In every way he can 

'Cause his worth was much more in his eyes 

Than what love could every suffice 

A game that both knew was meant to end 

Yet both played till the very end 

It wasn't that they didn't love 

But that love was never enough 

One day, the final move was made in the game of chess 

The Queen came crashing down while the King stood tall 

Love lost and logic won, once again this very time...

Snowfall - A beauty!

There is something mesmerizing about snow

The flakes move so freely in the sky

And makes me wish I could fly

When finally they come to rest

They provide a soothing cover to the barren land

Stripped of its beauty in fall

Earth once again looks beautiful in winter

I wish the white veil stays with the earth

Till earth could breathe freely 

And flaunt its beauty with lovely colors one more time...

There Is A Girl I Know!

There is a girl I know 

Prettier than she thinks she is 

And lovely as a morning dew

She deserves the world 

And happiness of a lifetime 

She was happy till one day he found her

When he walked into that door

There was something about him

That warned her, he wasn't right

And she knew falling for him

Would be to play with fire 

But a heart is hard to reason with 

And so it happened

He said all the right things 

And made her feel special 

But the reality was waiting 

To knock on the door

The charm was now for someone else

And she was to let him go

A story that was meant to end

From the start

Then why mourn the loss

There is a girl I know 

Prettier than she thinks she is 

Lovely as a morning dew

And the world deserves her.. :)

One More Time!

There is beauty in failure

Every time you fail

You fail better

And there is a motivation 

To try a little harder

But when it tests your patience 

And you feel like giving up

Try a little harder one more time

There is nothing to lose

But only to learn something new one more time!

The First "Fall" - Pittsburgh!

The days are getting darker
And the wind is cold and dry
The leaves have started to fall
And the lovely fall colors are everywhere

The colors remind me of home
And the festivals that I won't see this year
But I will witness some new one's 
And learn something more this beautiful fall

Beneath the bright colored leaves
As the earth is getting ready to fall asleep
My roots go deeper in search of answers
To make me more wiser as another fall passes by!

It's Always The Small Things!

It's not that I can't do things by myself

But a help from loved one is most cherished

I can go to any fancy restaurant

But there something magical about mom's food

I can buy the most expensive dress 

But still feel most comfortable in an old pair

I can be anywhere I wish to be

But at the end of day, my home is where I want to be

I can move mountains if I have to 

But an assurance from dad goes a long way 

After all, it's always the small simple things

Where our heart truly lies...

Lost Childhood!

There a reflection in the water

And I am not sure it's me 

After all these years 

After all this time

I feel, I have been robbed by life

Of the most precious thing I ever had 

A price paid for the experiences I earned 

Life isn't fair I know

But this is a price I wasn't ready to pay

And now I find it so hard to trust and so easy to lie

It is so easy to get hurt and so difficult to forgive

Childhood with it took a lot more than I ever thought

Yet there is part in me that fights

To believe in the goodness around

That is the child in me

And I will never let it die... 

There was.. There will!

There was a time
When all was gold
And value was dime
Now there are only stories told

For gone are the days
And a price that everyone pays

There was a time
When streets were nice
And there weren't any crime
Now before leaving we think thrice

And there wasn't a place for only 'mine'
Now most are selfish deeds

There will be a time
When we shall look back
And miss these old times
And wish we could for once go back

The Lonely Tree - Havelock#1!

Havelock 2015

Morning sun rose amidst the serene water

And the water shone like a silver light 

The lonely tree gushed and smiled with the waves 

And they made promises for a lifetime 

I returned when the sun was about to set 

And now, the tree stood lonely 

Leaves didn't sway, water had receded

And morning promises were broken

Such is our life joys and moments 

The spring tide we danced and enjoyed 

Leaves us at the eve 

For good or bad I can't tell

But I can say, the dawn will bring the joy 

If only we can stand through the night!

With snow-white beaches, teal shallows, a coast crammed with beach huts and some of the best diving in South Asia, Havelock is one of the most beautiful islands of Andaman & Nicobar Islands(India).

If only you permit!

I will be the one to speak in your ears to hold on a little longer
When you feel like giving up

I will be the one to hold your hands

When everyone else gives up on you

I will be the one to show you hope

When all you see is darkness

I will be the one to understand your silence

An Advise To Older Self!

Another year of sunshine and rain passed
And I am grateful for both
But sure I miss the early days 

And so will you one day 

One day you will look back 

And remember me

And probably miss these days

But remember you did great 

You were loved then and 

You are even loved more now 

Things might have changed 

But look around,what all you have won 

'Cause you valued things that matter 

And now when you are old 

This is all that matters 

One day you will be old

As I remember you today.. 

Some Other Day!

I thought to travel far one day
But then I had to save
And I thought some other day
And here I am, with no time

I thought to spend more time with family
But then there was an urgent work
And I thought some other day
And here I am, thousand miles away

I thought to do something different
But then there were others to please
And I thought, why not do it their way
And here I am, living for others

There is always something or someone
But there is no other time
Do what you have to, do it now
